How it all started...

In 1978 Wayne Greene was given six quarts of oysters from his dock boss at Mason Dixon. He traveled around the Tri-Cities selling oysters out of the back of his Datsun Station Wagon. Those six jars sparked the idea of opening a seafood business. He expanded from oysters to other seafood products and set up shop in his garage. In 1980, he purchased the current property on State Street. From there, the rest is history!

Passing to the next generation

During his lifetime, Wayne expanded this business into a Bristol staple. He grew into a business that included retail, wholesale, and opening restaurants in Bristol, Kingsport, and Greenville. The wholesale delivered into five surrounding states. In March of 2020, Wayne passed away. His last wish was to keep the business in the family. His eldest son Marty, and wife Krista, moved to Bristol to fulfill that wish. Since under their care, the business has flourished! Marty and Krista credit all of their success to the Lord claiming He has truly blessed their business and their family. They express genuine thankfulness for the customers that have supported them and the Greene family, for so many years.
